Ladies who pubic trim: how often do you do it and how do you dispose the hair? (2024)

I'm trying to prevent ingrown hairs. I used to do it every two months, but I still get mini cysts along my bikini line. I probably need to trim every two weeks instead?

Also, what is your process? Usually, I just lay on the floor in front of my floor-length mirror, trim with my legs splayed open, and vacuum up the hair. It's easier for me to see this way and not cut myself, but is there a better way?

I used to do it this way, but I can't see nothing and I'm afraid of accidentally nicking my cl*t. Thus, my mirror method.

i no longer trim as i'm in the process of lasering it off.

i used to trim about once a month. same method as you except i would put newspaper under me.

Omg thank you this is just what I was looking for!

I trim sitting on the toilet. I use a wet/dry electric shaver that I purchased from Target. I think it's pink and white. I shave/trim after I get out of the shower and I have dried off with the towel.

I take 3 paper towels and put it long ways on the toilet. I sit, and shave and trim. I get up, and all of the hairs are on the paper towel. Throw paper towel away. I wipe the excess hairs off of my skin and disinfect/soothe with a HoneyPot wipe. You can use witch hazel or ACV. Sometimes I will go over the area with PFB Chromabright (the rollerball with the light blue label). I don't get ingrown hairs, cysts, or pimples using this method and I been doing it since 2018. I can't afford to get waxed that often down there.
