“If I can do it, you can to”Something I have grown consistent with telling people lately.The more I say it though the less I believe it.I don’t believe anyone can do what I do. In the same fashion, I don’t believe I can do anything everyone else can do.It almost leads people to deep dive into things they aren’t good at instead of focusing on what they are great at.Sometimes people are better being the running back and having a solid quarterback go follow.So I’m going to switch what I say to something more like this.“Don’t try to do what I do. Been really focusing on these 3 types of leverage.- Relationship Leverage 💜 - Status Leverage 💫 - Financial Leverage 💸 Listed in the order I would personally rank them in matter of importance. Relationship Leverage - Who you know, how you know them, and how often you interact with them. The ability to reach out to a lot of people to ask questions or get tasks handled. This also comes into play if you need references, introductions, etc. the list could be expansive.^ Usually best used when the relationship is built on reciprocity.Status Leverage - I would define this synonymously with perception. Followers, titles, and anything else that makes the perception of you look better. Education and authenticity, from what I have seen, are the best way to help elevate this leverage.Financial Leverage - Easily the most known and talked about one. Simply how strong your financials are. No explanation needed for this really. Relationship and status are definitely not talked about enough. Much less education is related to these two also.Relationship leverage being the most critical there should be more focus on building strong relationships to strengthen/build your own community. Not only to reap the benefits but see the impact it could have on you and the people you interact with. Delusion has become both a super power and a cause of analysis paralysisI'm extremely happy that the people who have received my product like it and I think it's a good sign that we will have product market fit. On the flip side of that, I have been talking to people about forecasting and planning as we scale.Some people think 1M is a good starting point, others think 300k, and some even say 3M. Pick up from this weekend.Podium Athlete PrePerfect daily for me 🤝🏽I’m a huge caffeine feind so it’s nice to pull back a little and enjoy a nicely put together formula. I would say for 99% of people you should do a corporate job before jumping into entrepreneurship. If you can do them simultaneously, that’s perfect.In line with that, I believe the same 99% should go to school and get their degree.Simply for the versatility.In entrepreneurship you have to be so creative with a lot of things. Jumping straight into the deep end without the proper experiences can put you in a terrible place. From my own experiences I feel as if knowing what NOT to do is more important than knowing what to do.For example: Funding. I have my degree in finance so I can speak the language to get money for almost anything. Followed up with multiple years on the back end of banking. Without these tools to utilize I’m not sure how I would have tried to fund my business these last two times. I can tell you my interest rates would have probably been stupid.As an added bonus you always have something to fall back on if you fail. The only rebuttal to this would be if you have direct access to work under someone who is currently doing what you’re trying to do for an extended period of time.Too many people over estimate their ability to execute and underestimate the impact a solid 4 year degree paired with some corporate experience can do for your life._____________________________________We make the only clinically-dosed EAA (Essential Amino Acid) gummy.
